TUBING TRIP to the Mountains

We finally decided to take Laura and Drew to experience the cold and snowy weather up in the mountains. Since my surfing the day before didn't go so well, we decided to try out tubing in the snow. As you'll see in the video, Drew really liked it!

Getting ready was a bit of a challenge. Laura and Drew had to sit in the back of the car with the heat on to stay warm:

I know this doesn't really look like Drew, but that's mainly due to the camera angle. We were really surprised he did so good on his first day!

This is the look that Laura gave the lady at the ticket booth when she told Laura that she couldn't tube since she didn't look 36" tall. Good thing we measured before we went. With her boots on and lots of gel in her hair she's 36.00000001 inches!

Giant Wreath!

After changing the lights out on my giant wreath 3 times we finally got it ready for display. Andy came up with the idea of hanging it on the top of our house. Thank goodness we have life insurance for him as I was pretty sure he was going to fall a half a dozen times. Doesn't it look spectacular??

Christmas Time 2008!

Laura and Drew helped decorate their first Christmas tree this year and we only broke two ornaments in the process! Their favorite thing to do is to turn the lights off and on by stepping on the switch on the extenstion cord. I'm just waiting for that to break any day now.

During a recent diaper change, Laura somehow broke loose and started running up and down the hall in her birthday suit. I think she heard about how Uncle Ben did this when he was about the same age.

Laura has it pretty tough. Even though she is older than Drew (by 2 minutes), Drew likes to pick on her whenever he gets the chance. He's really just playing, but like a big dog that thinks he's a lapdog, Drew doesn't know his own size.

Laura and Drew love to dance to the music that their little car plays. In this video Laura is wearing her new sunglasses. Kacy bought them for Laura in the airport on their way back from DC and Laura refuses to take them off. We even had to put her to bed one night with them on!

Laura and Drew were playing outside when Mommy was watering her plants. They had so much fun getting sprayed by the hose that Drew wasn't paying attention and he walked right into a pole on the patio...he thought it was funny.
